Ritual Guide

The practice is three motions. It is meant to be learned once and then done without instruction.

Write

On the reverse of the strip there is space for a sentence. One wish, one name, one thing you are ready to call closer. Use a pencil or a fine pen. Do not write a list. The constraint is the point.

Ignite

Hold the far end. Light the written edge. Let the flame take, then set the strip in the brass clamp or a fire-safe dish. Paper incense carries itself. You do not need a charcoal disc or a wooden core.

Release

Do not blow it out. Stay in the room. Let the strip become ash. The scent is the residue of the words. Open a window if the air asks for it. Never leave a burning strip unattended.

How to use a kit

Three strips, three evenings, is the intended pace. One strip is enough when the room needs to change in a single sitting. Kits are not blends to burn at once. They are a sequence.
